Wrap in photo: Artipoppe Towel Yellowfuch 4 (53%Cotton 47%Linen)

I went on a short trip to Malacca over the long weekends. I have been to Malacca a few times before this. The weather always seem warmer than Singapore. So choosing the right wrap is important.

I recently received Artipoppe Towel Yellowfuch. It wasn't love at first sight. It came to me soft and fluffy and ... towel-ish. It was definitely not what I had expected. My impression of linen was completely different from this.

So I decided to take the towel together with me on this short getaway. The length and the blend would be perfect for the trip. Towel was put to the test during our Jonker street trip.

The length means I could only pull off a ruck, not to mention it wraps short. Ruck isn't really my to-go carries. It's not exactly the most comfortable carry for me. But a ruck is necessary for a place like Jonker street - not too much cloth all over that street and no cloth wrapping around me, keeping me less warm.

So, a little background of myself. I usually buy my wraps off BST so that I don't have to break in my wraps. Like what Anna said, towel will come soft and no breaking in needed. The first ruck with my girl was easy. The wrap was indeed soft and moldable. Tightening is effortless and the grip is perfect. Towel feels thin to me (I'm very used to thicker wraps) but comfortable on my shoulders.

Enough talking, now some pictures:

Conclusion: I am so glad that I took this on my Jonker trip. The whole trip was about 2-3hrs. I have picky shoulders (body), but this feels right. My girl was so comfortable she even managed to fall asleep. This wrap drives me crazy because it gets better each time I use it. I like everything about it. It's definitely the wrap I will reach often when it's time for us to have only quick ups and downs. The easycare just makes it even more perfect when I can keep my girl at my back and I know I can give her snacks without worrying my wrap getting dirty.
